Energy crisis

The energy crisis is related to the Earth's energy reserves, especially oil, coal and natural gas, which so many millions of years hiding our Earth below the crust. Without wisdom, like prodigal sons, began to eat away these stocks in a few years. The oil will be exhausted in 50 to 80 years. Coal and gas will run out at us from 150 to 200 years. Devour energy stocks in the world, undermining the future of coming generations. Then what will happen? How to run cars, trains, ships, airplanes, how to heated houses, how to operate the machines and factories; How will the transport systems, communications and information technology;

Note that the rich countries (ie 20% of the world population) consumes 60% of the energy reserves of our planet. The remaining countries (ie 80% of the world population) consume only 40% of Earth's energy reserves. Never in the history of man did not consume so much energy.

Many wars of the 20th and this century, have had and will have as their main reason for securing energy supplies.

Imagine that underdeveloped countries are developed to an extent approaching the average level of development of richer countries. Then, the energy required for all countries on Earth will be such that will literally swallow the energy of the planet within a few years and the environmental contamination will reach catastrophic heights.

How can 't deal with this grave threat of an energy crisis? There are many ways. Mention the following:

1. ENERGY CONSERVATION POLICIES

If you apply modern technologies and a basic wisdom, then it can save a percentage of around 30% of energy consumed.

2. ALTERNATIVE RENEWABLE ENERGY


The sun, wind, waves of the sea, hot springs, biomass and other effect may be exploited to produce energy. So far, all these sources cover about 2% of total energy consumed. It is estimated that this rate i 'increased. The delay is mainly due to the fact that the cost of necessary facilities is extremely high. If these difficulties are overcome, then a rate of around 5 to 10% of total global energy requirement could be met by renewable energy.

3. Nuclear power

Nuclear power currently provides in developed countries around 20% of the total energy consumed.
